“ First time being here and I was a bit nervous. New place and a new menu. Unfamiliar terrain. The staff were polite, courtesy, and had patience as I determined what I wanted to eat. The small town home like feel was definitely a plus. The staff brought me my meal and were pleasant and kind. The portions were large and I ended up having left overs. As I went to leave, I was happy to hear them thank me and wish me well. Even though I was out of my comfort zone trying a new place, it will definitely not be the last time I go there. With that being said, if you are ever on the D&L trail and/or find yourself in Slatington,PA be sure to stop in. Thank you for the wonderful service. I look forward to dining with you again soon. ”
“ I'm a Jersey girl and have been in Slatington for 3 years and being a Jersey Girl pizza is a huge deal in my family, we absolutely love pizza, with that being said finding pizza in PA has been hard we would have to drive far for good pizza. Today our regular pizza spot was closed and I had no choice but to order near my area, and the pizza spot I'm not a fan of so decided to give this spot a shot AND LET ME TELL YOU! “ Can’t ride the D & L Trail through Slatington without stopping at Sal’s Pizza and Family Restaurant. We usually just get a slice of pizza, regular and Sicilian and a beverage, but it’s always delicious! The food looks great, but since we’re biking we keep our selections pretty simple. The employees are always very nice, friendly and accommodating. Clean bathroom as well which is nice after being on the bike trail. Would love to come back and try something else on the menu sometime! ”
